There are a number of categories, and judges are looking for those students that have made a difference to people or the environment around them.
The categories are:
Kent Student Award winners receive cash prizes, official recognition from the University and unique opportunities to gain new experiences as students and alumni.
If you want to nominate someone, then in no more than 300 words you need to state what they have done to inspire you. The judges are looking for students that have made a difference to people, communities or environments through dedication, innovation, understanding or skill.
You can provide additional evidence or you may be contacted for more information about their work or achievements.
Nominations open on 11 January 2016, and for more information, you can visit http://www.kent.ac.uk/student/kentawards/awards.html
So if you know someone that you think fits the category, someone who has gone above and beyond, make sure you nominate them!
